It's our wedding anniversary today - I thought he'd forgotten - no card or flowers with my cup of tea this morning? no little packages waiting when I came downstairs after he'd gone to work?, I checked the drive and the garage - no shiny car with a bow on the roof? But......... I've just been out to our Shepherds Hut and my lovely husband must have got up at the crack of dawn!! He's decorated our Shepherds Hut with flowers and candles, the woodburning stove is full of oak logs ready to be lit and there is a table for 2 ready for, admittedly a takeaway - but, for me, I couldn't think of anything more thoughtful or romantic! |
